Ragert Alm is located in the Klausbach valley, which is known for the unspoiled beauty of its alpine pastures and its eagles. From the Klausbachhaus National Park information point at Hintersee, you can hike to Ragert Alm in about one hour.
Take the ALMErlebnisBUS to Ragert Alm
The ALMErlebnisBUS is a convenient option for alpine hikers in Berchtesgaden National Park. During the summer months, it runs hourly between Ramsau, Bavaria, and Lofer, Austria. Some of the most beautiful alpine pastures are located directly along its route or in the immediate vicinity. From the Ragert Alm stop, you can reach the alpine pasture in about 15 minutes on foot.
Mountain biking to Ragert Alm
You can reach Ragert Alm by mountain bike from Hirschbichl Road via the cycling route through Klausbach Valley. In Berchtesgaden National Park, all trails open to cyclists are marked with white signs featuring green lettering and symbols. These signs indicate the destination, distance, and elevation gain for each route.
If you don't see this official signage, cycling is not permitted in the national park—even if there is no prohibition sign. Violations of the cycling regulations are generally subject to fines.
