Exploring the National Park

Respect and protect nature

Berchtesgaden National Park is the only national park in the German Alps—and protecting its natural environment comes first. Help preserve this fragile landscape by following a few simple guidelines:

  • Take all trash with you.
  • Keep your dog on a leash.
  • Stay on marked trails.
