Lacklehen: Traditional alpine farming in Ramsau
Halsalm is managed by the farming family from Lacklehen in Ramsau. Each year, from mid- to late May, the cattle are driven up to the alpine pasture, where they spend the summer under the care of a Sennerin, the traditional alpine herder.
