Take the Jennerbahn to the mid-station, where your Königsbachtal Loop begins. This route is ideal for first-time snowshoers and anyone looking to explore Berchtesgaden’s winter wonderland at a relaxed pace on easy-to-navigate trails.
Follow the Königsweg trail past Wasserfallalm/Strubalm into the mountain basin surrounding Königsbachalm. From there, the route descends before climbing gently again. The scenic Speicherteich reservoir is one final highlight before you return to the Jennerbahn mid-station.
