The walk around Lake Höglwörth takes about half an hour. Along the way, you’ll pass an ice-cold waterfall and a small sunbathing lawn for summer swimmers, where you’ll also find a small café. The trail around the lake is flat and wide, making it ideal for a leisurely walk with a stroller.

As you make your way around Lake Höglwörth, you’ll catch frequent views of the former Höglwörth Monastery, set on a peninsula in the lake. The buildings have been owned by the privately owned Wieninger Brewery since 1820. The former collegiate church, dating from 1689, is now a branch church of the Anger parish. Today, the historic complex hosts a variety of events and is especially popular as a wedding venue.
