From Wimbachbrücke, this hike follows the Ramsauer Ache to Ramsau and continues through the Zauberwald forest to Lake Hintersee. Via Taubensee, the Soleleitungsweg, Vierradweg, and Böcklweiher, you’ll reach Herz-Jesu Church in Bischofswiesen.

From Wimbachbrücke, hike along the Ramsauer Ache to the world-famous St. Sebastian Church. This iconic photo spot is a perfect place to take a break. Keep your camera ready—the Zauberwald and the idyllic shores of Lake Hintersee offer plenty more beautiful photo opportunities. Follow the König-Max-Weg to Taubensee, then enjoy panoramic views from the Soleleitungsweg. At Söldenköpfl, turn onto the Vierradweg and continue to Böcklweiher. Here, a picture-perfect sight awaits: Watzmann reflected in the water.

From here, it’s not far to Bischofswiesen. At the train station, cross the Bischofswieser Ache and continue to Herz-Jesu Church, the destination of Stage 2.

From Wimbachbrücke, hike along the Ramsauer Ache to Ramsau, pass St. Sebastian Church, continue through the Zauberwald forest, and follow the trail around Lake Hintersee. Take the König-Max-Weg to Taubensee and continue toward Mordaualm. There, turn onto the Soleleitungsweg and follow it to Söldenköpfl.

Then take the Vierradweg toward Bischofswiesen, passing Böcklweiher and continuing through Böcklgasse. Follow the Bischofswieser Ache toward Bischofswiesen train station. At the wooden bridge, cross the main road and continue to Herz-Jesu Church. This is where Stage 2 ends.
