Enjoy authentic alpine charm at Wasserfallalm—without the long climb. Located just a few minutes' walk from the Jenner cable car mid-station, the alpine pasture is the perfect starting point for a hike along the popular Königsweg trail.
Lower alpine pasture in the Jenner area
On the western slopes north of Jenner, Wasserfallalm sits at an elevation of 1,237 meters. It's an easy walk from the Jenner cable car mid-station along a well-maintained forest road. Alternatively, you can hike up from Lake Königssee via Hochbahn.
The western part of Wasserfallalm is also known locally as Strubalm. The alpine pasture marks the beginning of the popular Königsweg trail, which continues through several alpine pastures in the Jenner and Lake Königssee area, including Königsbachalm with its mountain restaurant.
