A leisurely hike past alpine pastures and grazing meadows
From the Hinterbrand parking lot, hike along a wooded trail to the Jennerbahn’s mid-station. Follow the forest road, keeping to the right, until you reach Königsbachalm. From there, the trail climbs steeply for a short distance to the turnoff for Priesbergalm.

The Königsweg trail crosses alpine pastures. Please follow the rules for safely sharing the trail with grazing livestock.
From the Hinterbrand parking lot, follow a wooded trail to the Jennerbahn mid-station. Keep right and follow the forest road to Königsbachalm. From there, a short, steep climb takes you to the turnoff for Priesbergalm. Just beyond the turnoff, at the beginning of the alpine pasture, you’ll reach the gentian schnapps distilling hut operated by Bergbrennerei Grassl.
