Berchtesgaden Stollenweg – historic mine tunnel trail

From Unterau, follow the signs toward Oberau along the Zellerbach creek. Then climb steeply uphill to Zellergraben until you reach Oberauerstraße. Cross the road and continue uphill above it until you reach Lindenweg. Follow Lindenweg to a bus shelter. Cross the road there and continue along the road toward Obersalzberg until you reach the signs for the Stollenweg.

Now follow the marked trail down into Lettengraben and uphill to Bernegglehen. From here, descend into another ravine to the historic mine tunnels. From Mausbichl Chapel, hike down to the Gollenbachbrücke bridge, then turn right and follow the path alongside the main road back toward your starting point.
