This accessible hike starts at Klausbachhaus and takes you past the eagle observation point and the Lahnwald ranger station to the suspension bridge.
The final stretch to the suspension bridge has a gradient of 16 to 22 percent.
From mid-May through mid-October, you can take the ALMErlebnisBUS instead of walking this section.
Shortly after passing the Klausbachhaus National Park information point, follow Trail No. 481 past the eagle viewing area to the trail junction at the Lahnwald ranger cabin. Continue straight through both this junction and the next. After a gentle climb, stay on the gravel trail, and you'll soon reach the suspension bridge. Just beyond the bridge, the accessible section of the trail ends, and the climb becomes significantly steeper.
