The Gotzenalm is one of the highest alpine pastures in Berchtesgaden. The hike up to the plateau, where there is a mountain restaurant, is correspondingly long.
From Hinterbrand, via the Jennbahn mid-station and the Königsweg trail, to the Steinernes Bankerl. Passing the Enzian distillery and the Priesbergalm, the trail continues along the lower Hirschenlauf to the Gotzenalm.
