...is the highest National Park information point in Berchtesgaden National Park. Located in the Jenner cable car summit station above Lake Königssee, it introduces you to the fascinating diversity of alpine plants and wildlife. Feel real animal pelts, explore nature through interactive games, and discover the alpine world at engaging hands-on exhibits.
The exhibition is spread across two areas of the Jennerbahn mountain station: One section is located in the lobby in front of the Jenneralm restaurant, and the other is on the first floor above the Jenner Shop. Both areas are accessible via elevator.
There’s plenty to discover, especially for children: snow hares, marmots, and other animals can be touched and petted. The curious jackdaw guides you through the National Park’s themed world, while interactive games show why it’s so important to respect the sensitive habitats of grouse.
