The Royal Villa in Berchtesgaden was commissioned by the Bavarian King Maximilian II and built in 1853 according to plans by the architect Ludwig Lange. It is a listed building and is located to the west of the market centre on Kälbersteinstraße above Luitpoldpark, which was opened in 1893. The flat without kitchen is located on the 2nd floor with a view of the impressive mountain panorama. High, stylishly painted ceilings lend the rooms a princely ambience.
