Following in the footsteps of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and other beloved fairy-tale characters, children collect important clues along the Bischofswiesen Fairy-Tale Trail to solve a puzzle.
The fairy-tale trail at the Aschauerweiher natural swimming area in Bischofswiesen near Berchtesgaden invites fairy-tale fans of all ages into a world of beloved stories. Along wide forest paths, tales such as Rumpelstiltskin, Sleeping Beauty, and The Frog Prince come to life in a variety of engaging ways.
There’s also a puzzle to solve along the way, with children collecting clues as they go. Pick up the booklet with an overview map and questions for each station at the Bischofswiesen Tourist Information Center or directly at the Aschauerweiher natural swimming area, where the trail begins. Then your fairy-tale adventure can begin!
Themed trail at the Aschauerweiher natural swimming area
The trail first passes the Aschauerweiher Natural Swimming Area and then leads into the peaceful forest along the Maximilians-Reitweg. Shrubs, moss, and rocks along the approximately two-and-a-half-kilometer route create the perfect fairy-tale backdrop.
At each station, an illustrated panel introduces the featured fairy tale. The questions are designed so that children can answer them without having to read.
Children who complete all the activities correctly receive a small gift at the Bischofswiesen Tourist Information Center.
