Varied loop hike with a stop for food and refreshments along the way.
The Litzlalm loop trail starts off nice and easy—with a ride on the ALMErlebnisBUS from Lake Hintersee to Hirschbichl. From Hirschbichl, follow the shady forest trail uphill to Litzlalm. After stopping for food and refreshments at the Jausenstation, follow the forest road in a wide loop via Hufnagelkreuzung back to Hirschbichl.
From the ALMErlebnisBUS stop at Gasthof Hirschbichl, follow the paved road toward Weißbach for about 400 meters until trail no. 35 branches off to the right. The first section leads through the forest before emerging onto the alpine pastures of Litzlalm. Follow the forest road (trail no. 27) gently downhill to the Jausenstation, where you can stop for food and refreshments.
After your well-earned break, continue along the forest road. At the next intersection, turn right and follow trail no. 401 back to Hirschbichl.
