Schornbad

The outdoor pool known as the "Schorni," located in the heart of Schönau am Königssee, offers the perfect way to cool off on hot summer days. Both locals and visitors alike enjoy the pool.

Swimming fun for all ages: You’ll find plenty of space to sunbathe and play on the spacious green areas. More than 900 square meters of water across three pools, a wide water slide, a large water slide, and two diving boards are sure to get every water lover’s heart racing. At the kiosk with its outdoor seating area, you can enjoy refreshments and light bites.

The Schornbad is centrally located in Schönau am Königssee. It features a wading pool, a non-swimmer pool (70 to 120 centimeters deep), and a 25-meter swimmer’s pool (150 to 185 centimeters deep). The Schornbad features two slides: a 15-meter-long slide into the non-swimmer pool and a 60-meter-long tube slide. The tube slide is not connected to the other pools, so slide enthusiasts can let loose in peace without disturbing other swimmers. At Schorni, you’ll also find a one-meter and a three-meter diving board.

Outside the swimming area, you’ll find a beach volleyball court, table tennis tables, and swings for the kids. Large trees provide pleasant shade on the lawn. Additionally, areas covered with fabric canopies ensure plenty of shade even on hot summer days. You can enjoy further relief from the heat in the covered “lounge” near the pool.Öffnungszeiten
