The Windbeutelbaron
Windbeutelbaron: this is the name given to the Graflhöhe restaurant because of its specialty. More than 40 years ago, a Berlin master confectioner gave the innkeeper the original recipe for the cream puff. Since then, you can find all kinds of cream puff variations on the menu, from sweet to savory. But the Graflhöhe is more than just an excursion restaurant: in the kitchen, chef Hansi Ebner and his team also conjure up excellent dishes beyond the cream puff.
Hiking tip: On the Carl-von-Linde trail to the Graflhöh'
From the Obersalzberg documentation parking lot, the Carl-von-Linde trail leads along the Obersalzberg without any major incline. You will reach the Windbeutelbaron in about an hour. The Linde Weg is cleared in winter and is ideal for a winter hike.
