The kitchen is dedicated to fresh, regional ingredients. Traditional roast pork and roast beef are prepared daily in a 150-year-old wood-fired oven and served in the inn's charming, rustic dining rooms.

Auzinger: A gathering place for artists and musicians

At Lake Hintersee in the mountaineering village of Ramsau, Gasthof Auzinger has been welcoming guests for generations. As early as the nineteenth century, Romantic painters were drawn to the idyllic landscape at the foot of Hochkalter, making the inn a favorite meeting place for artists. Today, the Ramsauer Malerweg (Ramsau Painters' Trail) follows in their footsteps, leading from the village center through the Zauberwald forest  to Lake Hintersee and ending at Gasthof Auzinger.

Here, the Hillebrand family doesn’t just set the tone in the kitchen: The Auzinger Inn is not only known for its excellent, down-to-earth cuisine but is also a popular gathering place for folk musicians. The innkeepers’ family even takes part in the folk music evenings, as everyone—from the senior owner down to the grandchildren—is an enthusiastic singer and musician.
