A warm welcome to the AlpenLodge Berchtesgaden, hosted by the Heckenberger family. We are situated on the outskirts of Berchtesgaden, nestled within the impressive backdrop of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Our house enjoys a sunny and central location within Berchtesgaden; restaurants, supermarkets, and a bakery are all located in the immediate vicinity. From your holiday apartment, you can enjoy views of the surrounding mountain landscape—including the Watzmann and Untersberg peaks—as well as the historic town center of Berchtesgaden. Our new, modern holiday apartments exude comfort and warmth, and almost all of them feature a balcony (with the exception of Apartment 3 on the top floor). You may park your car free of charge directly in front of our house. A short stroll brings you to the Königssee hiking and cycling trail, which features a lovely walking path leading to Königssee Lake (approx. 4 km away) and the Jennerbahn cable car. The historic Old Town of Berchtesgaden can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes, while the nearest bus stop is just 250 meters away. With your guest card, you can use the public buses free of charge. Our location serves as an ideal starting point for activities such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, rafting, visiting thermal spas, and more. Salzburg is also just a half-hour drive or bus ride away. Thanks to their location, our holiday apartments are ideal for guests traveling by train, as the Berchtesgaden train station is just 500 meters away.
