Along the Teisendorf Sculpture Trail, you’ll discover a series of sculptures and educational panels all about the forest while hiking through some of the most scenic corners of the Rupertiwinkel region.

The Teisendorf Sculpture Trail combines the Forest Nature Trail and the Forest Dam Trail. The loop trail leads from the Teisendorf Tourist Information Office past the brewery and the outdoor pool, along the romantic forest path to Oberteisendorf, and from there along the Achenweg back to the starting point. A series of sculptures, figures, and informational signs add variety along the way. A highlight is the Raschenberg castle ruins. From there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Surtal valley and Oberteisendorf. You can also shorten the route. Ask for more information on site.

From the Tourist Information Office, walk past Wieninger Brewery, Eichelgarten Geopark, and the outdoor pool to the brewery’s former ice ponds. Along the way, information panels share fascinating facts about songbirds, native fish species in the pond, forest wildlife, and more. Follow the idyllic woodland trail, with beautiful views of Teisendorf and the waterfall, to the Lourdes pilgrimage chapel, where you can take a break. From there, follow the country lane back to Teisendorf or continue along the Sculpture Trail to Oberteisendorf.
