Regional - durable - high-quality
Only oak that has been dried for at least ten years is used to make the swings. Shaping the wood then takes about two hours. Each Hutschn is oiled twice and left to dry for a week after each coat. One distinctive feature of the Hutschn is its hand-spliced ropes. Splicing creates a continuous connection that can support up to 2.5 metric tons. The Hutschn is a genuine example of solid craftsmanship from Berchtesgaden. Local oak, skilled craftsmanship, and construction designed for durability set the Hutschn apart, ensuring it can be enjoyed time and again for years to come.
