Berchtesgaden Golf Course

Each hole at Berchtesgaden Golf Course on Obersalzberg, located at an elevation of around 1,000 meters, has its own unique character. The course stretches over a total length of 5,266 meters and features an elevation difference of 50 meters between its highest and lowest points. Hole 4 is widely considered the most challenging: at 392 meters, it is relatively long and demands precise shot-making, with rising terrain on the right and out-of-bounds waiting on the left.

Berchtesgaden Golf Course doesn’t feature extreme distances. Instead, the challenges come from sloping lies—such as over or under, or uphill or downhill. Choosing the right club for each shot is crucial here—it can make or break your round. The practice area, which features a covered tee, also offers grass tees, a sand bunker, a pitching green, and a chipping green. The putting green is located right next to the first tee.
