The concept of the Anno 1348 is based on the hotel's deep historical background. As the name suggests, it was built in the late Middle Ages around 1348. The wealth of legends surrounding the Untersberg, combined with the history of the building, make Anno 1348 unique. The historical artifacts that were unearthed during the renovation are thematically displayed in the restaurant and lend the concept a depth and authenticity that will leave a lasting impression on all guests. Anno 1348 was launched by the Schertler family with the idea of creating a central meeting place for people from the area and thus boosting the local economy.
