Vital Mushroom Day with Native Tree Mushrooms

In the morning, you will get to know some of the native tree fungi on-site in a small forest area in Marktschellenberg. This hike lasts about 2-2.5 hours. In the afternoon, after lunch, there will be more detailed information about these and other tree fungi, especially regarding their value for human health. Under supervision, three ways to use the tree fungi will be prepared. These can be taken home.

What to bring

For the afternoon: bring 3 jars of jam; they can be purchased on site if needed.

Please bring indoor slippers or thick socks for the indoor area (afternoon).

Suitable for

!!! The mushroom day is not suitable for children !!! Young people aged 16 and over are welcome to participate. Adult participants should generally be able to tolerate mushrooms (e.g. edible mushrooms), meaning they should have no intolerances.

Price information

Material costs in the afternoon: approx. 5-7 €, depending on the number of participants. This will be settled in cash.

Cancellation information

Cancellation possible free of charge until 25.08.; until 28.08. 50% of 99,-€ (Mushroom Day including catering); from 24 hours cancellation (29.08.): 100 % (= 99,-€) to be paid.

Important information

Important for the hike: sure-footedness, as the terrain is uneven. Sturdy footwear, cap or (sun)hat, and appropriate clothing. Please remember to consider individual tick protection, possibly also hiking poles. Small day backpack, and drink.
