Vegetarian culinary delights
At Lockstein 1, Christl and Gabi Kurz lovingly prepare vegetarian, vegan and raw delicacies, which you are welcome to watch being made. The dishes are served in small, surprising courses and are deliberately light and rich in vitamins and minerals. The chefs only use fresh produce, mainly organic and seasonal. Even the wholemeal spelt flour for baked goods and pasta is freshly ground in the restaurant's own stone mill to ensure optimum quality at all times. You won't find a microwave here. The culinary experience also includes organically grown wines, organic juices, organic beer and homemade herbal macerations.
The cookery school: culinary entertainment
Christl and Gabi Kurz's private cookery school is a workshop for wholefood vegetarian nutrition and a place where you can learn practical recipes for a stress-free kitchen repertoire. The cooking classes are not only educational but also entertaining and include lectures on healthy eating as well as a relaxed cooking demonstration. A well-coordinated team is responsible for the mise en place, washing up and service. After the course, you can enjoy the prepared dishes and ask any questions you may have.
