High-altitude trail on the Obersalzberg- Berchtesgaden
The Scharitzkehl high-altitude trail is located at an altitude of 1,100 meters on the Obersalzberg. The Eagle's Nest towers imposingly over the Scharitzkehlalm area.
Embedded in a valley on the rock faces of the Göllstock, you can cross-country ski here in an impressive landscape on a total of 9 kilometers of trails, both classic and skating. The high-altitude trail at Scharitzkehl in Berchtesgaden is particularly snow-sure until spring. It offers all levels of difficulty: from easy, medium and challenging to the 1.3-kilometre skating trail. The reward for the effort is a stop afterwards at the picturesque Scharitzkehlalm with a view of the imposing cliffs of the Göll west face.
