A roast chicken in the beer garden, a convivial lunch in the inn or a gourmet evening in the starred restaurant Solo Du: The Kulturhof Stanggass, conveniently located between Markt Berchtesgaden and Bischofswiesen, leaves no culinary wish unfulfilled. The Kulturhof kitchen creatively refines regional dishes. Ingredients from local cultivation, fruit from the farm's own orchards and fresh herbs from the Kulturhof greenhouse are used.
The Kulturhof Gasthaus: down-to-earth & creative
At Kulturhof Gasthaus, guests and locals are welcome to be together. In addition to tables for 2 to 6 people, up to 25 guests can sit at the large, handmade wooden table to chat, laugh, eat and enjoy each other's company. The dishes are down-to-earth but creative. The ingredients come from the region - without long delivery routes. Fruit and vegetables are even grown on site: in collaboration with the Alpenvorland project "Apfel.Birne.Berge.", the Kulturhof has its own orchards with old apple and pear varieties, the vegetables are grown in its own raised beds and the fresh organic herbs come directly from the Kulturhof greenhouse.
The Kulturhof beer garden: Bavarian beer garden culture
A fresh beer from the stein, a roast chicken and a sweeping view of the mountains: Bavarian beer garden culture is lived out under the chestnut trees in the Kulturhof beer garden. The two twelve-meter-long oak tables are real eye-catchers.
The Solo Du: the best of the simple
For Kulturhof boss Bartl Wimmer, one thing was certain: the Kulturhof needed a Schafkopfstube. And for the then head chef Norman Beitz it was clear: Berchtesgaden needed a gourmet hotspot - that was the birth of the Solo Du. Exquisite gourmet cuisine without the chic and chichi. Solo Du stands for pared-down cuisine - the best of the simple. The focus is on high-quality ingredients. Creatively interpreted, simple, different, exquisite. But not pretentious. Urban gourmet dishes with international influences - and a touch of the unexpected.
A MICHELIN star: cuisine full of finesse - well worth a stop!
The MICHELIN Guide's commentary on Solo DU
Four days a week, the traditional card game "Schafkopf" is transformed into a gourmet restaurant with four tables in the multifaceted Kulturhof. Hungarian-born chef Zsolt Fodor offers a well-composed menu made from top products. You will be looked after by the very competent and charming maître and sommelier Martin Bielik, a native Slovakian, who will put together harmonious wine tours to accompany the menu. Incidentally, the name "Solo Du" is a rating for "Schafkopf".
One MICHELIN star for the Solo Du.
