Lake Hintersee is like a picture postcard of an idyllic, romantic, alpine lake. Surrounded by towering mountains and nestled at the edge of the fairy-tale 'Magic Forest', Lake Hintersee is blessed with emerald green water, mysterious woods, a disarray of moss-covered boulders that, ages ago, thundered down the steep mountains.
